I've been in Michigan all week staying in the Airstream with Ian. We've developed quite a nice little way of being up here. I wake up about an hour earlier than he does, make the coffee, read for a bit (just finished this great memoir of Zimbabwe after the independence from Britain called The Last Resort. Highly recommended. Currently reading the Steve Jobs biography) and then he will get up and we walk Tasha about a mile to the beach trail, take an early morning swim and then spend the rest of the day exploring or, as its been too often, working. We are both saying to one another at least two or three times a day--"This is the best place in the world." And it is.
