Whenever a couple tells me that their wedding will be very small (under 100 people, usually), I take that very seriously and with a huge amount of honor. Having a tiny wedding is a real testament to including the people who are the closest in the world to you as a couple, and that is exactly what Emily and Evan did at her parent's cabin near Cross Village, Michigan. I felt so grateful to be a part of this day--the entire group was welcoming and kind, and it was very clear everyone was there to celebrate Emily and Evan's love.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful piece of land Emily's parents have owned for many years. After the ceremony, we all caravanned back to a rented house on Lake Michigan for a casual and relaxin lunch, some beach games, and a bit of swimming for the daring ones (this was early June!). The entire day was comfortable, supportive, enjoyable, and most of all, focused on love. Thank you so much to Emily and Evan for having us be a part of it!
