I met up with Trinity and Luke in downtown Grand Haven, Michigan for their evening engagement session last week. Trinity and Luke were so fun. Like...I love them. And I want to hang out with them more...even after their wedding is over. And Luke works at my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids, the Winchester, and he told me about this cauliflower dish to order and I ordered it the next night when we went there and it was....so damn good. These two cats were just rad. I cannot WAIT until October when I get to hang out with them all day at their wedding!
Ok, moving on--we had a blast and were able to explore lots of different areas around the lakeshore. We moved from downtown Grand Haven over to the North Shore near Ferrysburg, shooting in the dunes as well as at a 1970s styled cottage that a friend of mine owns.
Geek moment--I love this cottage. I love that everything is so angular and cinderblock-y and totally un-ironic in its presentation. I love that the shots I took of them on the steps makes it look like we're shooting in California. I love the entire thing.
We even went down to the beach where Ian and I got married! It was a fabulous evening with pretty light, a fun couple. Thanks so much, Luke and Trinity and congratulations!
