Never underestimate the power of social media! I met up with Lacy through the A Practical Wedding Instagram which had taken over for the month of March--she saw a picture about how we were in New Orleans where she and her fiance, Josh, live and she got in touch about doing a pre-wedding session for the two of them. They were getting married in April (last weekend, actually--congratulations Lacy and Josh) in California, but they wanted some shots in their adopted hometown of New Orleans. I was happy to oblige and we met up early on Sunday morning for some classic New Orleans activities--Cafe Dumonde for beignets and coffee, then strolling around the French Quarter and ending the session at the beautiful Tree of Life in Audubon Park. To make this session even more fun Lacy and Josh are both teachers, so we had a great time chatting about all things education and teaching. Thanks again, Lacy and Josh for such a wonderful morning! I know our paths will cross again soon and you've always got a place to stay in Michigan!
