Happy Tuesday from beautiful Empire, Michigan! It's been a whirlwind of a few days--Saturday we left for Spring Green, Wisconsin to photograph Christine and Forest's awesome, intimate farm wedding. Sidenote--have you been to Spring Green? If not...it's awesome. Seriously--it's like a little town that time forgot with a great bookstore, a general store serving homemade sandwiches and also home to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin which, unfortunately, we did not have time to visit on our trip. We shot the wedding Saturday night, slept into the cutest guest cabin on the farm for the night and then drove like crazy to get back to Grand Rapids on Sunday for a session that evening. Monday morning saw us up at 7am, driving to Sutton's Bay for a lunch meeting with our wedding couple this week. We met at Martha's Table in Sutton's Bay and met Crystal and Sam for a quick bite. Crystal is one of the first couples to book me for 2013 and she and Sam are great! I think we're going to have a blast on Thursday night--their wedding will be in an 1800s log cabin on Northport Bay. They are planning for all homemade food, dogs wearing bow ties and dancing on the beach--sounds just about perfect.
Off for my morning run and be sure to check back later for a sneak peek of Christine and Forest! Xoxo.
