Having a Pop Up wedding means letting go of some of your control and letting me handle it--that's exactly what Katee and Evan did in June for their Pop Up wedding and it went smashingly. The Pop Up took place at a beautiful spot near Northport, MI in a field overlooking the Manitou Islands and surrounding cherry orchards. Katee and Evan showed up with their small group of family and friends, chatted with Ian to ensure he was down for the rendition of the marriage scene from The Princess Bride (Mawwiage....mawwiage is what bwings us togwedher todayyy), and said their vows. They had a reading from Calvin and Hobbes and made a unity cocktail--I mean, yeah, it was fabulous. This couple was so lovely to work with from start to finish--totally in love, totally relaxed, totally excited to be marriage and totally kind. Thank you SO much, Katee and Evan! Congratulations!
