A couple of weeks ago, I made a whirlwind trip to Chicago to meet up with Bridget and Eric for their engagement session in Lincoln Park. I met Bridget and Eric through a friend and they are just fabulous. They recently ran a marathon together and it’s clear from spending time with them that their relationship is based on mutual respect and just head over heels love—hanging out with them on a beautiful Sunday night was absolutely lovely. We met at the Curvaceious sculpture near the south end of Lincoln Park and wandered around to all sorts of other great spots throughout the park. One of my favorite parts of this session was how Eric and Bridget were up for anything, but they were also totally wrapped up with one another, which makes for the best kind of engagement session! I think sometimes it’s really hard for couples to feel comfortable and romantic when they’re wandering around in public with a (basically) stranger following them with a lens on a big camera. Luckily Bridget and Eric didn’t let any of those factors get to them—instead, they just were able to relax and enjoy the night with one another. I’m loving their pictures and can’t wait to capture the whole shebang in May. Thanks so much Bridget and Eric!
